Opening day at the new skateboard park. Skaters gave it rave reviews. They tell me this puts East San Jose on the map in a big way with pro and amateur skaters from all over the country.

Sweet video, Len. I remember the 80s when san jose had some of the best skaters living in it - steve caballero. glad the next generation will have this great mecca! while i never figured out how to use a skateboard, i hope some 'bettys' will get out there with the boys.
I remember when the old Kinney's Shoe Store parking lot on Story and McGinness had a ramp and pros use to skate there.
